Marjorie Rose Guist

Marjorie Rose Guist, nee Bufton, was born in 1916 to Rose and Thomas Bufton.

She moved to Ramsey with her mother after the death of her father. She trained to become a nurse and worked in Cambridge. She married Michael, who was from Romania in 1960 and they were married for 39 years.

Ramsey was always close to her heart and she spent every Christmas with her nephew and his family in Ramsey. She was fun loving and very young at heart, and despite not having children of her own, she was a loving step-mother to Michaels 5 children.

She died in August 2014, aged 98 and a half.
