Resting Places Uncovered and Cleaned

Nikki Lisle and Community Payback with volunteer Geoff Potts, continue to do an amazing job of clearing and uncovering the resting places of local people, that have unfortunately lain neglected for many years. You can see from the photographs just how hard they have worked, and I am indebted to them.

One such grave that has been uncovered, is that of Marjorie Mabel Walker, who sadly was only 4 days old when she died, on November 26th 1952. Although I'm sure that her family has never forgotten her, she is now recorded in our archive, allowing future generations to speak her name.
